Free Pattern Wednesday: Octopuss
I recently had the absolute delight in test knitting for Bethany Hendrickson, an absolutely amazing designer! I feel pretty silly that I didn't notice her pattern go live, but here it is on ravelry! It's a direct download from ravelry here.
If you're at all interested, here is my blue version :)

Happy Thanksgiving, and Free Turkey Patterns!
Hey friends on the Internet! Happy Thanksgiving for everyone that celebrates it! W, Lotus and I have had an awesome say, and to top if off, here are some free turkey toys for your Thanksgiving knitting pleasure!
First up is this cute little round turkey from WEBS! It's a free download from here.
The next free turkey was part of a knitalong last fall of the Spud Says! blog from Spud and Chloe. Isn't he cute? Isn't the model cute? You can find this pattern here.
And last (but not least) there is this cute felted turkey from Mummble-Jummble2.
See, now you have some cute centerpiece ideas for next year, I hope! :)

Tutorial: Picking up Stitches for Limbs
Hey! This is super useful: a video that explains how to pick up stitches in the middle of your work!
This is great for doll limbs :)
There's also some written directions and pictures here (Scroll down).
All of this lovely information is from Knitting in Circles, which sells some cute patterns :)

How A-DORK-able!
This cutie is named "Adorkable Monster" and it really, truly is. Created by Pockets and Parking Garages.
If you've noticed that I haven't updated a lot, make sure that you check out my new blog, Alyoops! That's where all of my WIPs, photography, Lotus pics, and new designs will be from now on.
I'm actually probably going to move the amigurumi update in the future, or end it all together. I'd like your opinion (if you have one ;P)

Shark In the Water
This knit shark by Faye Sweeney is super cute :) The website takes time to load, which sucks, but keep at it! It's worth the long loading time.
